Actor Ghanshyam Nayak, Natukaka of Tarak Mehta fame passes away at the age of 77

Veteran actor from Ghanshyam Nayak popularly known as Natu Kaka from the long running TV show Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah passed away on Sunday. He was battling cancer for past sometime and he breathed his last on 4th October, 2021.

His last rites were performed by his family members on Monday morning. The funeral was attended by the cast and crew of Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah.

He was 77. The senior artist was fondly known for playing the character of Nattu Kaka in the hit sitcom, which stars Dilip Joshi in a lead role.  Apart from his role in Tarak Mehta, Ghanshyam Mehta was also a veteran theatre artist with close to 4 decades of acting experience in dramas and plays.

Several netizens took to social media to mourn the demise of Nayak, who won hearts with his performance in ‘TMKOC’. The fans paid a tribute to the actor and remembered his iconic scenes with co-star Dilip Joshi in the popular show.
