Mumbai, July 27, 2025 – The eagerly awaited Malhar Met – An Indie Gala occurred on 27th July,
featuring music, art, and vibrancy, generating the perfect ambiance for the upcoming 46th
Edition of Malhar.
As a prelude to one of the nation’s most renowned college festivals, students across Mumbai
took center stage on the red carpet for the event. They received a barrage of flashes in typical
paparazzi fashion. Everyone was dressed to impress, posing for the lenses and the room was a
flurry of bustle and sheer glitter.
The night’s emotional vibe was depicted by Charan, a Bollywood songwriter widely recognized
for the song “Vekh Sohneyaa”. He engaged profoundly with the audience through his
performance and has carved a niche for himself in the music industry. As the tempo intensified,
rap battles, dance battles and DJ took over the college hall, making it an energetic set up. The
evening effortlessly transitioned from calming melodies to lively beats, sustaining the electric
atmosphere.
Improving the experience were several booths settled by the student, from the Fine Arts – Face
Paint Booth to the DnM Merch Stall and the inviting photo booth. These features added a
celebratory charm to the night, enabling attendees to leave with more than mere recollections –
they took home their experiences with pride, something which would remind them of Malhar.
Malhar Met – An Indie Gala was not just an opening act; it honored creativity, individuality, and
the collective essence that defines Malhar. Drawing from the success of this extraordinary
evening, Malhar is more inspired than ever to offer a main festival that will be even larger,
bolder, and more memorable on the 14th, 15th and 16th of August, 2025
