Lifestyle Cricket Academy batting first at Thakur Stadium posted a total of 214/8 in 34 overs as the duration of overs were shortened due to rain. Opener Deepak played a really well placed innings of 74 runs in 76 balls which had 13 fours at a healthy strike rate of almost 100.00. Apart from him, Abdul Hadi at the middle order fell just 1 run short of a deserving half century while young all-rounder Dubey chipped in with a cameo of a quick 13 ball 30 down the order pushing the team to a 200+ total.
Chasing 215, Homeground Cricket XI which is another quality team were bundled out for 160 runs thanks to a mesmerizing spell by leg-spinner Aviral Dubey. If his 13 ball 30 was not enough, Aviral stunned the entire arena with bowling figures of 9 wickets for 24 runs in 6 overs.
Aviral was brilliantly supported by wicket-keeper Aniketh who took out the stumps 7 times in a row! It has certainly proved to be a spinners game as per Rajiv Naik who is carrying on the same in the Senior level of the Team as they won the match by 54 runs.
