The Traditional Day celebration at WILSON College on January 12th, 2023 was a pre-event of an exciting two-day annual fest “OLÉ” which will happen on 27th and 28th of this month.

The enthusiastic students came fully clad in their traditional dresses. Kurta-pyjamas, sarees, suits, gowns looked simply amazing as they collectively displayed an array of colors and reflected the diversity of India.
Students performed Bharatanatyam, Bhangra, Oyilattam, Kummi Attam, Kuthuattam and also a north east collective performing Bodo, a folk dance based on a festival celebrated in Assam!

There were various stalls selling roses, stickers as well as games to hype the enthusiasm. To top it off, the DJ played some solid beats with irresistible music on which the crowd got tempted to dance. The OLÉ marks the beginning of the wholesome fest with traditional day as its pre-event every year. With a head start like this, we can only wait to see what more is in store from OLÉ 2023!
