Mithibai Sports Conclave successfully conducted by Mithibai Sports Committee on 10th of January, 23

Mithibai College – one of the most sought after, oldest and reputed colleges of Mumbai is known for its amazing social culture as much as it is known for its quality education. Throughout the year, one will come across multiple social events and fests in the college which promotes healthy engagement amongst the students.

Mithibai College recently conducted Indoor and Outdoor Sporting Events as a part of their Annual Sports Day Event which also received a great response. On 10th of January, the Mithibai Sports Committee also conducted a Sports Conclave where Guests from Sporting Fraternity were invited to the conclave to interact with the students.

The two special guests who attended the event were Haineel Shah and Manish Rao. 29yr old Haineel is one of the prominent Sports Journalists in Mumbai while he also has other accreditions to his name of being an Author, Senior Advisor to India’s Disabled Cricket Team and an Angel Investor (Co-Founder) to two start ups. 32yr old Manish Rao on the other hand is a First Class Cricketer who has represented teams like Mumbai and Indian Railways. It was a one on one interactive session where in students engaged with Haineel and Manish over different topics related to Sports and Journalism. The event was anchored by host Riaana Wadiwalla who was handed over the mike to ensure a great interactive session during the sports conclave.

Haineel & Manish who attended the Conclave as Guests shared with Bombaynews.in – “The students of Mithibai are really fabulous. They were cool, generous and provided great hospitality. The Sports Committee handled the event very nicely and did great co-ordination to ensure things fell into place”

Mithibai Sports Committee members further added that We would like to thank Principal and Vice Principal and all the teachers incharge to grant us the permission to conduct this conclave. It was a fun interactive session where we got many insights from the Special Guests Haineel and Manish”
