All-Rounder Yogesh Kare bags Back to Back fifers in MCA Senior Invitation Qualifiers’22

Left arm fast bowling all-rounder Yogesh Kare who plays has impressed one and all taking back to back fifers as well as scoring half centuries in MCA Senior Invitation Qualifiers tournament.

In the match vs Walekar Sports Foundation, Yogesh Kare representing Brilliant Sports Academy scored a unbeaten 52* off 33 balls at the middle order in his team’s total of 414/5 in 81 overs. Walekar Sports Foundation in reply were all out for 72 runs in 1st innings and 90 runs in their 2nd innings. Captain Yogesh Kare led from the front with a searing bowling spell taking 5/28 in 11 overs including 4 maidens. Yogesh bagged 3 wkts in the 2nd innings as well taking overall 8 wkts in the match.

In the match which followed vs Sri Sai Yuva Cricket Academy, Brilliant Sports Academy scored 401 runs with skipper Yogesh once again backing it up with a valiant 53 off 59 balls at the lower middle order. Sri Sai Yuva Cricket Academy in reply were all out for 156 runs in their 1st innings and 151 runs in their 2nd innings. Yogesh took 4/31 in the 1st innings followed by a brilliant spell of 5/20 in 6.5 overs in the 2nd innings.

It was a complete all round show by Yogesh as he makes a strong case for himself for Maharashtra State Team selections.
