Gaud Saraswat CC batting first at Mahul Ground Gaon (1) posted a massive total of 298/4 in 40 overs. Swashbuckling Opener Aryan Chauhan top scored for his team with a brilliant 158 off 114 balls smashing 16 fours and 1 six. Aryan was also well supported by Auwab Kunni (71 runs) & Aarush (52 runs) with whom he sticthed crucial partnerships as Gaud Saraswat reached an imposing total in their quota of 40 overs.
Chasing 299 in 40 overs, Ageas Federal Vengsarkar Academy were all out for 132/9 with Shivank Rao scoring 40* for his team. The bowlers performed exceedingly well especially their off spinner Mann Bhanushali took 4/14 being the pick of the lot with the ball. Mann’s bowling spell certainly proved very crucial in the game as the opposition were not allowed to score runs freely. Apart from Mann who was last year in Mumbai U14 probables, Kavya Gori also chipped in with 2 wickets for 17 runs.
